Interestingly and well written ,very descriptive text about the man, his life, and his design aesthetics. Would love to have seen more photos and collections included. Overall , a fine addition to my collection.
Loved this beautiful book. A keeper for the library. Full of great essays and magnificent photographs. If you love McQueen in fills in any gaps of knowledge if you know he is important but not why this will explain all. Definitely recommend this book for all art lovers.

Mcqueen never disappoints me and this book is not an exception. As an art history major who have seen tons of design,Lee Alexander McQueen is the only contemporary designer that I admire. This book provides not only beautiful pictures of the stage performance and exhibition, but also sketches that reveal Mcqueen's thought of his design. Besides, this book also tracks McQueen's inspiration and links it with classical works in art history such as Harms Memling's It's a Jungle out of There, Bosch's Temptation of St. Anthony. It is a must have for somebody who wants to explore the evolution of art. The only thing that I am not satisfied with is the weight of the book. Really hope it can be lighter!
