Excellent book -- I highly recommend it. I did not know all of this even happened in Nashville, and the way the author presents it all is as good as any good murder mystery novel. I like his writing style, and will definitely be reading him again.

I have lived in Nashville my entire life and witnessed (via local news medIa) Homicide Detective Pat Postiglione covering many homicide cases over the years. He is certainly an asset to the Nashville Police Department and to the city of Nashville. I fully expected this to be a great book and I was not disappointed!
This true crime from the pursuers of justice perspective is meticulously researched and engaging. Although it drags on a few places and there is some duplication is tough to put down.

I tried, l really tried, to read this book. 50 pages in, and I have just given up. If you like l~o~n~g, drawn out descriptions of people and places, this is the book for you. I am pretty picky about what l read. I don't care about who settled the town in the 1800's or the genealogy of the main people. I want to read about the crime and the investigation. I don't want to read 70 words, when 10 words will surfice. Also, an ideal book, for me, has only the last few pages dedicated to the trial. I am not interested in reading all the trial testimony. Just my opinion
