Although, I don't remember exactly what I read in this book, something must have rubbed off because I quit working at a job that wasn't aligned with my purpose and was actually costing me to get there, only to find a better paying job, but then wasn't a healthy environment, but instead of staying, I left much much quicker than it normally would take for me to realize it wasn't worth it.I didn't really try to stay and "work it out" or "deal with it" and then I finally just left the industry altogether to find something perfectly in alignment with me and my ultimate goals. I found that job a couple months later and when hired, I was given a raise on the spot, which as a serial under earner was a huge deal.Along with this, I've been reading Secrets of Six-Figure Women, also by Barbara Stanny, Mindset by Carol Dweck, and a book called Unleash Your Inner Money Babe by Kathrin Zenkina.

This is my second Barbara Stanny read. I guess you could say I am becoming a fan of her work.When I read the title, I asked myself if I too might be an underearner as my whole adult career has been spent in the public sector with its designated pay bands assigned to each employee classification. I suspected I was so I felt I could probably benefit from the author’s five step plan to a richer life. While the author writes primarily to benefit women, I suspected that anyone who read the book could benefit from it, so long as they took the actions suggested within it.Based on what she was learning from her research of six figure women, the author began leading Overcoming Underearning workshops. This book grew out of those initial workshops. As a result, this book is full of exercises, quizzes and opportunities for self-discovery and practice. If you do these, I believe this book can have a real impact on your life.This is an excellent, well written, engaging book. Because of the interactive nature of the book, I would recommend you buy the paper, as opposed to, the electronic version, so you can take full advantage of the interactivity offered.I particularly liked the author’s focus on the need to address the mindset or mental aspects associated with living a “richer” life. As the author noted, her own beliefs were holding her back.Read this book. Do the exercises. Don’t let your beliefs hold you back from living the good life.

This book resumes the experiences of Overcoming Underearning workshop participants and some of their follow-up stories.The introduction takes account of Barbara Stanny’s story as an underearner, all her struggles, until she figured out the five-step plan to overcome it.She states how anyone can earn a six-figure income, and still be an underearner; therefore, financial independence is the focus.You can ckeck a list of symptoms of being an underearner with Underearners Anonymous. However, Barbara Stanny believes underearning is a symptom per se, and it is a consecuence of low self-esteem, or lack of self-worth.It is uncomfortable to bring all that’s not working to the surface, and heal. Furthermore, change, and new opportunities are waiting for us to transform our mindset, and clean the clutter.This book is useful if you are thinking “it is time to make more money.”, but you don’t know where to start. As a financial coach myself, I've read dozens of books on money and it's rare that they are so clear and focused and give great actions to take. I recommend this books all the time! This book has very interesting info on kidney disease and recipes to prepare that are kidney friendly. I have another copy of this book but have a vacation home in another state; this copy is going there so I don't have to carry it with me each trip. disease. If you need a cookbook of this type this is a good one. The tables for phosphorous, sodium, fiber, and potassium levels are very helpful.

The creative and ready recipe the cookbook is filled with recipes and food item lists.There is also a section on reading food labels. The recipes I've tried are easy and tasty. It has very good information. The recipes look tasty most of the recipes are good to very good, and some are not to my liking has to be on renal diet.

This is great. It has a lot of recipes, most of which I will try, and a ton of useful information and charts in the first part of the book. This book explains a lot and I highly recommend to anyone either on dialysis or with kidney problems.

The author has chosen plain and simple language to inspire the reader to take a chance and not worry how people may judge you. Generally you should ignore the people who endlessly criticize things. Instead listen closely to the people who are busy doing things. This author is obviously the latter of those two kinds of people.

The author avoids complexities and ties various sources of wisdom together in a helpful and encouraging read. His own honest experience in this provides a humility that makes the lessons more personable.

Just downloaded it and skim read in 20 minutes flat (which shows its complexity): sorry - it's not 'a fail' - but it's about as obvious and ordinary a pop psych book as is possible. And Mr Bathla, get a good editor, the English in here is woeful.

Let the reader beware. This book could have certainly used an editor who was proficient in English. I could not make heads or tails of it. It hurt my head to try to read it. Very disappointed.
